Matt Bentley rips into TNA

-Matt Bentley was on last night's Between the Ropes radio show, his TNA contract expires 8.20.07 and he ripped into the company.

-Bentley described that morale in the locker room is poor. The guys feel that they have been working hard, only to be replaced and or shoved down the card by former WWE stars. The company is no longer the fun place it once was to work.

-In regards to all of the talent being brought in, he said that names that are supposed to be big stars are brought to increase ratings and buy rates, but the never rise.

-Instead of being allowed to go out and work hard, the in ring is restricted and they have to deal with "gaga segments" and things of that nature.

-In regards to the Congressional letter to TNA and drug testing, Bentley said that he was never drug tested by TNA nor has any other wrestler that he knows of working for the company.

-He blames Dutch Mantell for the lack of direction and push for Serotonin because, "Mantell didn't want to be bothered with it." He also said, in regards to Mantell, "That guy needs to be fired. The only way to kick Jeff (Jarrett) in the ass is to kick Dutch in the back of the head."

-Finally Bentley was upset that after his years of service he was just coldly informed that he was done, there was no thanking him for his tenure with the company and or wishing him well.

I agree with the majority of it. Especisally the amount of former wwe guys who get pushed over the TNA guys.

Haven't seen much of Bentley's work but he'll probably end up on Smackdown as part of their "cruiserweight division" cos of his relation to HBK. Imagine, nephew of HBK vs nephew of Bret Hart (that's if teddy can keep his out of his backside)

It's like a little WCW, just without the ratings. Sucks for the TNA originals, they are getting crapped on fro guys like Test and Tomko who bring nothing to the floor.

Wrestling 101

I guess we won't be seeing him in the company even though I think he is great talent. It seem's like all these star's are saying there unhappy and what not as soon as they leave TNA e.g Konnan. I hope when TNA get's 2 hour's they could fix all these morale problem's and what not. I believe if WWE wanted him they would of picked him up. His new character lacked charisma. I feel when they get 2 hours he'll forget about all this and they would sign him back and put him back to the gimmick he had Micheal Shane and change his name back to Matt Bently.

The following notes from the recently released Matt Bentley's appearance on Between the Ropes Radio in Florida the other night:

- Matt said TNA never drug tested him and he didn't see other guys being tested either.

- He said TNA used to be a fun place to wrestle for but now its all about entertainment and said Dutch Mantel has a lot to do with the problems in the company.

- According to Matt, the morale in TNA is very low and alot of the guys are upset about the former WWE guys being brought in and given a push.

- He talked about all these former WWE stars coming in and the ratings still dont go up.
