"- In other TNA rumors, the TNA X Division title may be phased out soon with the recent and rumored signings of heavyweights like Banderas, Matt Morgan, Andrew Martin and others. It's believed that Kurt Angle will defeat Samoa Joe at Hard Justice and go on to select a partner to carry the Tag Team titles with while the World title and the X Division title will be unified, getting rid of the X Division title."
Its a lie. It is unfortunatly being demoted but not gotten rid of.
iMPACT! recognized Daniels as the number one contender. Tenay even saying Daniles will probably turn his attentions to the X-Division after Hard Justice.
God debuted his new gimmick following a long awaited Heel Turn on December 1st.
When TNA started it was billed on the same level as the World title but now its being dropped down the card. With two hours coming soon and the addition of a mid-card title then it will be World title(Angle, Cage etc) > Mid-Card title(Roode, Harris etc) > X-Division title(Daniels, Lethal etc).
I'd rather the X-Division be the main focus but guys like Angle etc bring in the fans so they will have to be seen as being the focus point.

Exactly. TNA is having to go away from their roots in order to draw fans. TNA is a mini WWE now with a bit more talent, a bit more wrestling and a far worse show. I watched TNA because it was different, now it's not so much.
I don't see why some of these bigger guys couldn't be legitimate X Division champions as well. If it is no limits it doesn't just mean acrobatic no limits. If used right this could be the prefect medium to show that the smaller guys can compete with the bigger ones. I think no limits I think more in your face, and bigger impact. Not necessarily small guys who flip around. Look how they used Joe to bridge the gap between smaller guys like Daniels and Styles through X division title feuds.
