As I got into my car this morning, I had the radio already tuned to O&A. Before I could change it, I heard them talking about a limo blowing up. They were actually talking for wrestling for the first time (as they put it) in 3 years. Well, if this angle has got the media talking, I think it's what Vince wants. Anyway, they decided to call their good buddy Tazz up, who was actually sleeping when they called. Below is a recap of what they discussed.
-Tazz joked that he wondered at first who would pay his paycheck now, but after deciding Steph and Shane would take over, he could sleep peacefully last night. O&A laughed because he could forget about the potential death of Vince so easily. Tazz just said he wanted to get paid.
-Tazz said none of the announcers or wrestlers legitimately knew about the limo stunt. He said when it happened, the entire arena just went silent, and it was pretty eerie. After the show, he went backstage and it was a little odd because Vince wasn't there, as per usual.
-O&A joked with Tazz about the stunt, wondering why Vince used a white limo that looked like it was from 1979. Tazz replied that it was the only limo in operation in that small area of Pennslyvania. Plus, they talked about the "dangling foot" that went in the limo, then reappeared under the door, before finally going back into the limo as the door closed. Tazz just shrugged it off.
The interview was pretty quick, but came off as lighthearted as O&A were trying to plant the idea that this was all staged, and not for real. Tazz laughed and rolled with it, and plugged ECW tonight for the latest up-to-date news regarding the Vince saga and draft.
