It looks as if there may be some major changes to TNA’s upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view. Scott Steiner, who was slated to re-unite with his brother Rick as the Steiner Brothers tag team against Team 3D at the PPV, was injured over the weekend. According to one backstage source the injury is to his neck and is believed to be a trachea injury.
While the exact severity of the injury is still known, Steiner is scheduled to undergo surgery. It is also unknown at this point how long he will be out other than he will not work any of his scheduled dates this weekend for Hermie Sadler’s UWF promotion in Philadelphia and Maryland. UWF is already in the process of booking a new main event.

This is the first injury that i can think of in quite a while. The last i can remeber was him needing stitches atfer Joe cracked his head open with a chair nearly a year ago.

why are all my MFLW wrestlers always getting injured? First Booker, then the Undertaker, now Stiener. i havn't been watching wrestling much till last night and on some forums i've read that Cryme tyme was inactive till last night.
Edit-Nevermind....it's gone.

In another update on Scott Steiner, The Wrestling Observer is reporting today that Steiner is still in the ICU in San Juan, Puerto Rico and awoke this morning for the first time after having trachea surgery.
Steiner was said to be in good spirits and will remain in the ICU for the next few days.

MFWL seems to be done. So i wouldent worry about it. But man you have bad picks, who else did you have so we know who's next to be injured.
nice to hear he's doing ok.
when MFLW was still going i had Cryme Tyme and i think both Cade and Murdoc. I also had Jimmy Wang Yang. I guess when it was still going WWE looked at my roster and didn't want them to get injured so they left them inactive.

Scott Steiner is currently listed as being in serious condition in the hospital in Puerto Rico. Fortunately, he is expected to make a full recovery. Backstage announcer Jeremy Borash is down in Puerto Rico tending to Steiner and his wife.
Scott Steiner’s official BootyDaddy.com website is running daily updates on his health as he recovers from throat surgery. Below is yesterday’s update:
"Scott is still in ICU. He is doing better again today but is still heavily sedated due to the amount of pain he is experiencing due to the injury and the surgery.
The doctors are still draining blood from his lungs so things are still quite serious.
He said that the most frustrating part of being in the hospital is the lack of communication between the nurses and Scott because of the English/Spanish language barrier.
Scott would like to again thank the staff and especially Dr. John Jones, Dr. Jorge Hernandez and Dr. Pablo Rodriguez. These doctors have helped out throughout the entire process from everything from the surgery to the recovery process."
