Rikishi Set For A Comeback?

It has been reported that Edward Fatu, the large Samoan wrestler formerly known as Rikishi, Kishi, and sometimes even Quiche, will be returning to the WWE to form a tag team with current monster heel Umaga to form a tag team akin to the Wild Samoans.

They are set to dominate the Raw tag division when Rikishi debuts after Backlash. It is said that the big man has dropped approximately 30lbs since his last stint.

If he's lost some weight, good on him, and I'm all for even more legitimate Tag Teams. Even if they are incredibley racist and narrow minded!

Re: Rikishi Set For A Comeback?

i dont see how this could work... having Rikishi being a dominant Samoan Heel after having shoved his rather large ass into peoples faces... i just dont see this working out..

Well having Umaga has a dominant Somoan heel after being a jobber as part of Three Minute Warning worked, also you should note these two are actually brothers

Re: Rikishi Set For A Comeback?

I think they would make a good tag team but I still like Umaga in singles action.

Re: Rikishi Set For A Comeback?

I like the concept, and I've always been a fan of Rikishi's "PHAT" ways, but he's much different than Jamal. Rikishi was actually a big time player for awhile, with the Stone Cold feud and all, and the Rock, and even with Too Cool he was the cat. Jamal was just a random member of a few month long tag team. They can't bring him in as the same type of character without everyone knowing the difference, but thEy CAN actually let everyone know they are truly cousins and he's come to help or something.

Re: Rikishi Set For A Comeback?

I think this could work. I tend to disagree with Crash on this. Look at Papa Shango/Godfather/Goodfather... I think Rikishi has been gone long enough that it could go over. There are also a lot of younger viewers as well who may not be familiar with Rikishi.

Re: Rikishi Set For A Comeback?

Trudat, I actually hope it does work .... if they get rid of the blonde hair and big ass thong that clearly says RIKISHI on it it might have a chance hahah.
