Sting's long-drawn program with Abyss should be coming to a conclusion soon.
He is scheduled to feud with Christopher Daniels in a few months. That's the reason Daniels wore a Sting mask, trench coat and used a baseball bat in his return because they are planting the seeds for a program between the two.

Re: Sting's next storyline
I've never liked sting (esp the crow version sting) and am sad to see so much money and air time going to a guy like this. I must admit though, at least he actually makes an attempt to earn that paycheck by wrestling and showing up on free tv rather than taking a 'ppv wrestling only' stance. I guess I really just don't feel like watching wcw II for so many main events.

I'm looking forward to this fued. This will really put CD back into the main light and HW scene with the casual fans. Like it or not Sting has more history and "asses in seats" following than anyone else in that company. When he sets his mind to something he follows though. TNA just needs to mix the new with the old a bit better and get rid of a few guys like Nash, Steiner, and Ryno. Ryno should be a solid mid card title guy or used as a push for others.

All Nash does is promote the X-Division guys. He's done Alex Shelley and Austin Starr already now he's doing Macho Man Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt. A few monthes ago Lethal, Shelley and Dutt were doing absoluty nothing while Starr was trying to get back into TNA after fucking it up the last time.
Steiner makes a good right hand man for the heel's. He's the back up for the champ and i've no problem with that just once he doesnt get a world title run.
Rhyno is the utility man. Put him against anyone and the story line will run. It wont always be good but he gives it his best shot which is all you can ask for really. Someone commited to the storyline regards of how little it matters.

Re: Sting's next storyline
In the sense that, it "should" help propel the absolutely excellent Daniels back into a brighter spotlight, then it's all good.
As for Sting?
I've never been a big fan of the guy, it's not that he's an incompetent wrestler or anything, just I feel he's "phoned it in" way too often down the years.
Once you've seen one Sting performance, you've pretty much seen them all.
I will defer to his newer fans in TnA though since I've not seen his recent feud with Abyss.
I still can't believe his "crow" character, which was one of the best written and most patient character plot lines ever used, had the ball dropped on it within three months of his long awaited Starrcade re-appearance.
I also believe that he didn't help matters by misrepresenting what the character was. Did he not see the movies it was based on? He had not cut promos and just appeared in the shadows for a year, yet when he came back what promos did we get?
Something darkly underplayed or sinister? No.
We got him hollering "woooooo" at the top of his lungs and acting like the beachbum surfer "face" character that he'd always played prior to the "crow" look.
I'm pretty down on him for messing that up (and don't tell me he lacked any political clout in WCW to have pointed his character in the way it should have been portrayed).
Other than that, I adore him and think he rocks the cake that rocks the party.
