Nowadays, WWE is trying to listen to the fans a bit more. They tried to bury these three individuals, but the fans refused to stop cheering for them.
Expect to see big pushes for CM Punk, Matt Hardy and Rob Van Dam. A lot has already been shown by Punk's role at WrestleMania and his good performance on the show. On Raw, you saw Matt Hardy become a champion again. And at WrestleMania, RVD gained a win because they want him to a part of WWE in the future. The company threw him a bone with the Mania win, basically letting him know that if he re-signed, they'd take care of him. No one knows what his plans are and the belief is that he's not 100 percent sure at this point.
Yeah Great idea to bury the wrestlers people like.
Now imagine if they had actually let Matt Hardy get even 1 good win off Edge when he came back? Sheeesh.
The Hardys have proven that not EVERY wrestler has to be a stud on the mic when you can back it up with wrestling skills.
I am also glad to see Jeff Hardy doing so well since his return. He should be commended as often as possible for kicking a drug habit that clearly was killing him.
Everyone saw how much he was cheered in the beginning and even in The Hammerstein Ballroom which is notorious for not liking the WWE talent that is in ECW.
Also, i'd love to see Matt given a proper run with a singles title, maybe US or IC as he can do great things.

Punk isnt really a wwe guy. He hasent competed on RAW or SD for any real lenght of time. I think he gets cheered because of his previous history with RoH etc.

He got a clean win against him in a steel cage on PPV, thats not a bad win in my eyes
He also got his ass handed to him for a month or two every single week leading up to it, to the point where if he DIDNT get the win it would have been just plain embarrasing.

ugh, how many WWE casual fans actually watch ROH?

So does this mean they'll give RVD another run with a championship. They really should. He has served his time, possibly cleaned up his act, (though I hope he still smokes).
