Several new matches have been added to the 7/15 Saturday Night's Main Event show. Edge will defend his gold against John Cena. Batista will team up with Rey Mysterio and Bobby Lashley to take on King Booker, Mark Henry and Finlay. Also, there will be a "Bikini Bull Riding Contest" in which divas from all three brands will be competing in. Torrie Wilson, Maria, Mickie James, Candice, Victoria, Kristal, Ashley, Jillian, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly will be participating in this contest.
Internally, several people are wondering about the supposed push Ken Kennedy was supposed to receive upon his return. Some people are saying that "that the ship has sailed" in terms of Kennedy being a top tier player in WWE. Also, Kennedy blamed Super Crazy for his match at the SuperShow taping being sub-par. Kennedy said that it was Super Crazy's work that caused the match to be a let down.
The match will be edited in spots for this Friday's edition of Smackdown.
The recently demoted Gunner Scott is not too popular among his peers in OVW. When Scott was called up to the main WWE roster in the spring, several people said that he had an attitude where he acted like he was above OVW. Now that Gunner Scott is back in OVW, he's not really being accepted because of how he acted towards people when he was called up to WWE.
...Kennedy news is devastatingly terrible. I for one don't think WWE believe he can't be a top tier player all of a sudden. I mean McMahon is a known fan of his so just because he hasn't been pushed in his first few weeks back means nothing in my eyes. This is jsut a way for him to get back to his best in the ring and get rid of all his ring rust...At least I hope it is. I'm pretty sure he'll get a push to US Title at least soon enough, hopefully anyway.
