Kurt Angle will be taking some time off. He will be on an extended hiatus to heal up. That's partially why he jobbed at Vengeance and on ECW last night.


The feeling is that Vince McMahon will be taking full control of the direction of ECW. He gave Paul Heyman some power last week, but it doesn't look like it will last. Then again, things have been changing on a daily basis as of late.

WWE officials will not rush Chris Masters back on to television after he deals with his personal issues related to the drug testing results (like in the case with Randy Orton). It is not known as to when Chris Masters will be returning to WWE - there is no timetable for his return. One WWE source said, "he needs to mature socially."

First of all...It's pretty understandable that Kurt needs time off, and it makes sense for him to job to RVD and Orton at this news. I was sortof in wonderment why they didn't throw him into the title picture but all becomes clear now...

Secondly...Why, oh why Vince!?!?!?...:-/
I can only hope that he doesn't take full control of ECW. I was hopeful for it if Vince and WWE creative actually left it alone and allowed Heyman to take over fully, but seems my hopes may be shattered......

As for Masters news, I'm not a particularly big fan and don't really care that he's missing at the moment. Guess it'll do no harm when he comes back, perhaps WWE are also trying to dream up a storyline whilst waiting for him to deal with his drug issues...So could be a long wait after all...
