There is a movement in WWE to try to bring in more smaller, international stars to try to recreate the magic of Nitro in the mid-90s. They also want to get a jump on WSX and TNA, who both are pushing light heavyweights.
They're interested in a few guys in Mexico, not to a mention a few guys in Japan. Other names discussed include Gedo and Jado.

They should look at their own roster first as they have a solid cruiserweight division if they were given a decent amount of time on tv and also had no restrictions on them.

Seems like a bogus news report. They've had some talented cruisers for years. What use is having them, when all they do is perform like heavyweights. Lol they cant even get that many decent moves in...

For a serious answer, I agree with Necro. They already have plenty of good cruiserweights. No need to bring in more when they barely use the ones they currently have (unless they just want to prevent TNA from using them, like when WCW kept signing useless wrestlers just so WWF couldn't use them).
It would be awesome to see them do something like TNA with there X-Devision. Have special matches at PPV's. These guys can make amazing moves nad do alot of highflying stuff. Like Necro said, why have them if your going to use them as heavyweights?
Yeah, it was right when they were turning him heel.
I think it was Paul London he injured, and when London came back they had Kidman turn heel on him.
Edit: After some checking, it was Chavo Guerrero who was legit injured by Kidman. They did use that to start the Kidman/London feud (where Kidman purposely kayfabe injured London).
