Champion. He said on next weeks show he will make an announcement regarding the NWA title. Jeff Jarrett came out and got in Cornette's face and they argued

NWA Tag Team champions AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels d. The Diamonds in the Rough. Jamie D came out and beat up Simon Diamond


Monty Brown d. Chasyn Rance in a squash.

Team 3D including Brother Runt Challenged the James Gang to a 6 man tag at
Victory Road.

Senshi won a 3 way over Samoa Joe and Sonjay Dutt to win the X Division Title after Scott Steiner attacked Joe with a chair on the floor


Impact for 6/29

Christian Cage came to the ring and called out Sting. Sting told Christian that
next week on iMPACT! they will be a tag team against Jeff Jarrett and Scott
Steiner

Petey Williams and Eric Young d. Chris Sabin and Jay Lethal

Monty Brown d. Normal Smiley in a squash

Team 3D d. AMW in a street fight. After the match Abyss and the James Gang
attacked Team 3D.

Jim Cornette came to the ring. He announced that Team Canada is now disbanded, if LAX contiunes to refuse to wrestle they won't be paid, Earl Hebner is fired, and that Larry Zbyszko will face Raven at Victory Road in a hair vs hair match.

Jim then turns his attention to Jarrett and Steiner. He announces a four way
match at Victory Road with Christian Cage, Scott Steiner, Sting, and Samoa Joe to determine the number one contender to the NWA Title. The winner will then go on in the same night to face Jeff Jarrett with the winner becoming the new NWA Champion.

So at the moment they're claiming "Championship Vacant" I gather. Jarrett would need to win again at Victory Road as he showed at Slammiversary he is one of the great heels. At the end of Victory Road I'm hoping he walks away with the title...Presuming this is all true.
