The 6/12 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW drew a strong 4.3 cable rating with a 6.6 share. The first hour scored a 4.0 rating, while the second hour scored a 4.5 rating. This rating is way up from last week's 4.0 rating.
The 6/9 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown drew a final 2.4 broadcast rating with a 4.7 share. That is the same rating the show drew last week.
We hope to have the rating for ECW's debut on the Sci Fi Channel on Tuesday night very soon. It will be interesting to see what kind of a rating that show draws this week and the following week considering the first week effort was dismal at best.
You'd have thought the return of DX would have drew in a bigger crowd than that. Though as news will spread of their return, I can only assume next week's RAW will be pretty huge in the ratings as DX should bring a few of the Attitude era fans out. I'm expecting/hoping for WWE's sake that they exceed the 5.0 mark that night.
I'm thinking Vengeance will be one of the higest ordered PPV's of the year also with DX's return match. That and the fact the rest of the PPV looks pretty stacked too. It has the potential for some great matches, with the Intercontinental Title match standing out as a potential unbelievable match and the DX match-up standing out as a brilliant thrill for older wrestling fans as well as younger ones who are only now being introduced to the legend that is DX.
