Rep Power: 6 ![]() | New match announced for No Way Out Source: wwe.com This past December, four tag teams tore the house down at Armageddon in a thrilling Four Way Ladder Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. At No Way Out, they will attempt to do it again, as Paul London & Brian Kendrick will once again face MNM, The Hardys and William Regal & Dave Taylor in a Ladder Match. London & Kendrick survived the first encounter with their gold intact, even though they didn’t know they would be doing so in such an environment. They were originally slated to face Regal & Taylor in a standard tag team match, but SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long added MNM and The Hardys and the Ladder Match stipulation mere moments before the bout began. It was also in that match where Joey Mercury suffered the severe facial injuries that require him to wear a protective mask. That incident only escalated the Hardys/MNM rivalry, as they met at the Royal Rumble and Mercury has been after Matt Hardy nearly every week on SmackDown since his return. This time, all four teams know the stakes, the stipulations and the opponents going in. Will London & Kendrick once again prove that they are the dominant tag team on SmackDown, or will one of the challengers step up to the plate and pull the gold down from the ceiling of the Staples Center on Feb. 18? |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: New match announced for No Way Out Okay, that's cool, I love the Hardyz and ladder matches, but honestly, why are Joey and Matt still on SD!, or Jeff and Johnny still on RAW (even tho' they should be kept here) if they're only gonna' be in tag matches with each other at every PPV? I like that they have tagged a bit recently together, but NOT every PPV if it's only then, and not on a regular basis....it's not such a special thing anymore! And another thing, why the WWE belts? Why can't we just get the world belts off of ppl like Shawn and Cena, or RKO, even tho' they DID have a name, they even admitted they only had one reason to be partners (DX ending), and not being in the tag division. This match would be much more appealing if somehow Matt and Jeff, or even Joey and Nitro won the belts from Cena and Shawn before the PPV, then had this match to unify them. I know it's been brought up before, but with the new teams poppin' in and out of SD! maybe it would be a cool thing to just randomly have the belt on whicheevr brand has the belts. Then we see more cross brand matches, and it could be an ongoing rivalry as "Which brand has the tag belts".....or something like that! PS: I HATE Regal and that other idiot. I doubt both combined could even spell the word ladder. | |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Re: New match announced for No Way Out Regal and Taylor are old school wrestlers, beat the hell of your opponent until they can't continue. This match (and the other tag match for NWO) just support my belief that the brand extension should be ended. WWE doesn't even act like they are sopposed to be seperate mini-companies. Remember when it started and Bischoff/Stephanie would do things like try to lure wrestlers to join their brand, and they treated the brands like the were WWF/WCW level rivals? |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() | Re: New match announced for No Way Out No-one else think that this is the most stupid booking ever then? We've seen Hardy's V MNM recently doing this and we're building to 'mania where it has become the tradition to have an awesome mid-card (MITB) Ladder match. Way to desensitise your audience WWE.
