Backstage reaction to VKM/Christy Hemme segment - Wrestling Forums : WWE, TNA, ECW, E-Fed, Wrestlemania, Live Wrestling Streams

What seemed to sum up TNA at Final Resolution is that in the VKM segment at the Final Resolution PPV they mocked WWE for having people chanting "TNA" during the Rosie/Donald skit, but later in the same segment they had their own fans chanting "We Want Wrestling".

Everyone backstage knew that segment was a complete disaster but they had to do it to further the upcoming Women's division.

It was a terrible concept. Bash wwe for lame unwrestling related skits followed by one of your own.

I'm certainly not hot on it at the moment, but I suppose (as with all these things) it depends what it leads to. The angle "could" turn for the better, but at the moment, it doesn't smell like it will

Agreed, they can't even have more than 3 (maybe 4) matches currently, adding a women's division would make it worse.

This whole VKM angle has been pretty bad, thankfully TNA seems to be toning it down.

Gail Kim and Jacquline are two of the best, Christy has been in training and Jackie Gayda and Tracii arent the worst either. With the exception of So Cal Val they could all pass for a match.

to me, Gail Kim has always looked so small that it doesn't seem like anything she'll do would hurt. Jacqueline is getting older and I never cared for her. Miss Jackie is just a pair of tits to me. Either way I don't care for women's wrestling and like Mr. Kennedy said, they only have an hour as it is, I don't want time taken up from guys that are already being pushed aside for old WCW / WWF talent.

Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels are two of the smallest guys and they are both former world champions. Gail Kim has never relied on power like Jazz(another small one) and Victoria do, she uses her speed and wrestling holds.
I might have said it wrong about Jacquline, i should have said she was one of the best and for all we know still is.
Pretty much agree with Jackie Gayda tho i dont mind when she is on camera.

I wouldent worry too much about taking time away as they wont wrestle every week. Maybe once every three weeks and then at the ppv or the ppv pre show. Just use two minutes of the 40 each week and you'll start to get a storyline going. PCS usually got a max of 5 minutes and look how good that turned out to be.

I hate Rey Rey and HBK too. But for reasons other than just being small. Hell, I love some small guys (Spike, Kendrick, Tajiri, etc) but I still realize it looks rediculous when bigger guys are taken down by their little swinging kicks.
I should clarify, I like the moves that Gail can do as they look impressive, but at the same time, none of them look like they would really knock another girl down. It looks more like foreplay.
And 2 minute matches aren't always good if you want to really build the women up. A 2 minute woman's match makes me think of Chyna shaking the crap out of Marlena.
