Survivor Series no longer in Montreal

Credit: SLAM! Wrestling

The 2007 edition of the Survivor Series was tentatively scheduled to take place in Montreal, but that's off the cards now. According to the Canadian-based wrestling website SLAM! Wrestling, the event will be held in Miami, Florida instead.

"It was tentatively booked a long time ago, but we never announced (Survivor Series) would be in Montreal," said WWE Canada president Carl DeMarco. "There was a hold on the building, but sometimes there are routing issues."

They were keen to have the 10th Anniversary of the screw job there weren't they? Maybe they've finally realised no one cares anymore.....

Well, not until Harry Smith, Nattie, TJ and maybe (maybe not!) Teddy are on the full roster.

Maybe they don't actually have any plans at all to do a new Hart Foundation (which would possibly be a shame since with Hunter back around summer-ish) if they bought these guys in to feud with D-X (maybe with a manager....Benoit? Storm?) I think there could be money in it.

Maybe they realise these guys would need longer to establish themselves.

Maybe I'm talking crappola!!

Doesn’t surprise me, I knew having it scheduled in Canada would cause an up-roar and force Vince to change location. It makes me nutty because I was actually looking forward to go to Survivor Series. But now sense it moved, my dreams are crushed.

The only thing that makes me happy about this whole thing is it being moved to a big wrestling state, should be electrifying.
