Lance Storm recently commented on the departure of Bret Hart’s son Dallas from his pro wrestling school. Storm stated that Dallas lacked the interest and the determination at this time to be involved with professional wrestling. Storm said that the younger Hart had enrolled in his Fall class, but missed several classes in his first two weeks and basically quit his training.

There is an interview with Jim Cornette in the latest edition of the UK's Powerslam magazine. Maria's position with Ohio Valley Wrestling at the end of his tenure in the company gets brought up and he subsequently blasts her. Although, it should be noted that Cornette's opinion on her is based on her time in OVW in early 2005 when she was really new to the business and Cornette was pretty much fed up with WWE & their direction by that point. Anyways, here is what he said about Maria:

Don't you mean Maria?
Marie, Maria: whatever. Another useless (woman) they foisted off on me. You know, I was running a wrestling school. Maria hadn't wrestled, didn't like wrestling, and didn't wanna f--king wrestle. I don't know what the f--k she was doing there. I was expected to use her on television, so she could practice her interviewing...

She needed to the practice, right?
She couldn't even remember the names of the people she was interviewing. WWE wanted her on our show live. I told them the last time she was on live, she couldn't remember the wrestlers names, so I was putting her in a pre-tape.

Word from WWE is that Carlito will remain in his current mid-card position until he decides to step up and show that he really cares about the business. The big criticism recently is that he was unhappy being put in the puppy-love storyline with Torrie Wilson and thus he hasn't been trying to hard as of late. The other problem according to those in the know is that the babyface character he is playing now is completely the opposite of how he is in real life, and that he's a natural heel who in some ways is being held down by a character that it's basically impossible for him to play.

Carlito is much better as a heel, i cant stand him as a face.

^^ Ditto. Doesn't work at all for me. Especially as a vanilla face as he is at the moment. If he were more of a tweener face with a harder edge he'd have a chance, but they've cut off his legs with this character.

I wouldn't say I "can't stand him as a face", but I do agree. He should be doing what feels right, and its obvious they'll get greater results if they let him do his thing and feel comfortable out there!
He could be one of the Top 3 heels in the WWE period right now.
