Rep Power: 19   | Hogan's latest WrestleMania idea and JR comments on TNA source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hulk Hogan is looking to pitch a Hogan & Vince McMahon vs. Big Show & Eric Bischoff match for Wrestlemania 23. If this goes down, the angle would be, "Will Vince turn on Hogan?" Regarding Marty Jannetty's WWE status, Jim Ross posted the following in his latest blog on his official website. Ross said, "Marty Jannetty is no longer in the WWE. Perhaps he will return someday as stranger things have happened over the years. Marty would probably make a nice coach to some of the young wrestlers." In his latest blog, Ross also comments on Monty Brown, Chris Kanyon, Mike Tenay, ECW ("It is being re-designed, it will probably take a year or maybe two to get it to where the WWE wants it."), Barry Windham ("From what I understand Bary Windham will soon be joining the WWE as a producer/coach type person.") and more. Also, it looks J.R. watches TNA. J.R. said, "LAX is an entertaining entity primarily because Konnan can really talk." Click here to read his latest blog entry. Rep Power: 7 gXboxLive Position: 14th | The tag match seems like a good idea in principal, one that would have worked even better had Hogan not screwed Vince over by going to WCW. Then they could play it off as WWE owner and his former prized commadity faces off with former WCW owner and his main guy. However, knowing WWE it would turn into Vince and Hogan cutting promos every big city on the way to Mania about they don't really like each other. |

Seriously though, if they absolutely need to put Hogan up at Mania, they should just do a one-off Hogan/Show match. It'll mirror the Hogan/Andre match they so desperately want to recreate, and it wont mean jack considering how little tread Show had left on the tires. I don't like the idea of McMahon semi-main-eventing another 'Mania, give the stars more time to shine for God's sake. | |
