There has been talk of bringing in a babyface Latino group to feud with LAX. If this does come to play, the faction would be headed by Apolo (real name Germán Figueroa). However, some people don't want Apolo to be brought back because he no-showed some dates during his last run with the company, more specifically, the TNA Final Resolution PPV last January.

Brother Ray was very mad backstage at the 12/11 Impact tapings. He wanted Team 3D's return to TNA to be a surprise so that they could get the surprise pop from the crowd. However, before the show, ring announcer Dave Penzer ran down the show to say who was there, and he mentioned Team 3D.

Kurt Angle appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge show on 12/8, which was a few days prior to his PPV match with Samoa Joe. However, he didn't talk about his upcoming match that much on show. Instead, he mostly talked about doing MMA. Angle claimed that he was planning on doing four MMA matches, the first of which would be on a TNA PPV in May or June. He said his first opponent would either be Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Ken Shamrock or Daniel Puder. He also claimed that this PPV would do one million buys and head-butts would be legal.

Thats interesting considering Apolo was suppose to be in LAX instead of Hernandez and Machete before him.

I wonder if they would consider waiting on the new Latino faction
until Mysterio's contract is resolved.

Would certainly be something to see if Mysterio could lead a babyface latino group and of course, him in TNA.

Mysterio in TNA.... Lets not jump to any conclusions... I think my heart would give out on my if he was to go there.

hes very good friends with angle so im sure he'll be in contact. and it is rey misterio, considering only a few years ago he was the best lucha libre in the world, tna would love to have him. and with very few move restrictians he could go back to his old ways.

Crocker is right though, people shouldn't assume every WWE star will go to TNA when their contract is up.

Mysterio is well paid in WWE (far more than he would earn in TNA and doing indy shows), and has been given more success than he really should get (like a pity world title reign).

BS, he was not great friends with Angle, they disliked working with each other on numerous occasions and had legitimate heat backstage more than once.

I would love to see Angle in MMA action on a TNA PPV! That would really bring the company to the forefront of the buisness and the media.

I think Tito would most likely knock Angle out but if Angle won the publicity would be huge!

In all honesty if this does happen I think it would be Puder and Im still not sure who would win that.

i didnt say great i said very good :p
and even tho they didnt like facing each other they did get along backstage, most of the time anyway.
