Rep Power: 14   | WWE Meets New Japan During his visit to the United States, President of New Japan Pro Wrestling Antonio Inoki stopped by WWE World Headquarters in Stamford, Conn. to meet with Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. During the brief, cordial meeting, both sides discussed possible business ventures in the future between WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling - the largest wrestling promotion in Japan. Rep Power: 14 | Lyger is a NJPW guy, Im some what suprised that WWE is even talking to New Japan cause if I remember has alot of strong Ties to TNA (one of there belts is even a NWA ranked belt). but I really don't see what other reason does WWE have in talking to NJPW then to do some kind of roster swap, or to buy them out. Since Simon Inoki has had problems and Yukes has been open about shopping around. | |

Rep Power: 2 | Well back in the day Vince supported NJPW. During the Japan wrestling war between Baba (RIP)'s All Japan Pro Wrestling and Inoki's New Japan Pro Wrestling. So the meeting doesn't come as a shock to me. I won't be surprised if they work something out. |
