ECW World champion Bobby Lashley will make his first title defense this Tuesday on ECW vs. The Big Show. The match will be taped tomorrow prior to Monday Night Raw.
Nothing of note happened live in the Arena after the ECW PPV went off the air beyond Paul Heyman and Big Show embracing and leaving together.
Al Snow was originally scheduled to be at tonight's PPV to wrestle Elijah Burke in a singles match but missed the show due to a family emergency.
The ECW website announced that CM Punk would be going on the WWE tour of Iraq, which is leaving Monday after Raw and ECW are taped. Punk will be doing a daily blog for the ECW site.
Christopher W. Anderson is not expected back with ECW until after the New Year. Anderson has been out of action with a herniated disc as well as two additional bulging discs. Anderson has been undergoing physical therapy several times a week to deal with the problems.
The ECW website storyline is that Sabu was "treated and released" by a local hospital in Georgia, but not in time to appear on the PPV.
