When I saw this I thought wtf? How did tna manage this? I too thought Kurt was WWE loyal. However, I do not see too many WWE people ending up in tna now as Vince will be crapping himself and putting no complete clauses in all contracts and terminations etc., unless it's someone who has the star power of Snitsky.
bottom line is that this is something that the wrestling industry needs to get it back to where it once was.
tna gettin angle is a good move for them but in terms of them against wwe like the song says no chance in hell, imo sting is a bigger name in wrestling than angle and he didn't do to much to their ratings, he also won't b on impact all the time, like sting who is there about once a month if he is even in tna anymore, so again good for tna but won't change much

Comparing Angle's acquisition to Sting's is ridiculous.
Sting's prime was long gone, as was his name credibility - what I mean is, most fans today will have seen tons of Angle and little of Sting - especially the casual fans, who may well watch TNA because of Kurt's deferral.

Actually he's right here. Now that Angle's on board. I have the urge to find a source for TNA. *lookings at Deadly lovingly*
I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.
If Kurt Angle would go to TNA, what's going to stop Jericho or Lesnar or if Cena ever becomes a free agent? Angle has been the most loyal guy on the roster that I know of. He's always been a class act.
I think there's more shit going on in Connecticut then we know. I should take a drive down the street and see what the fucks going on lol.
I think the only thing that would stop guys like Lesnar, Jericho etc. from signing with TNA is that right now, TNA isn't big enough of a company to afford to sign all of those big name talents. Remember, they had to get help from Spike! to sign Sting, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same were true for the Angle signing.
If TNA continues to grow from here, then in the future they could afford to add more big-name players, but right now, it's going to be on a limited basis.
I'm still shocked by this news, though and in this day and age, it's hard to be shocking in wrestling, so it's shocked in a good way.
Is that true? I was under the impression that they were partly funded by a hugely successful (and rich) financial company in Panda Energy or something like that?

it just does not seem right... i just cant see angle working in front of 1100 people not 11,000... and thinking about it does anyone think that angle did not want to join the ecw brand and this is he way of getting back.. just a thought

I wonder how "deep" Panda want to get into it with TnA? There already running a massive loss leader there (hopefully a leader anyway). Looking at their numbers and the debt their running up already, it makes me wonder whether Panda have just said "screw it, let's take a risk and bring in some really bigger name guys and see if we can crack it, give it a year and then cut our losses".
If they do that, I wonder how long they'll then give it till they'll want to see some improvements in ratings and viability?
The difference between Sting and Angle is huge. Sting last mainstream appearance was when WCW shut down which was 4-5 years ago. Angle's last appearance was last month. I would rate Christian Cage slightly ahead of Sting because he came in from the WWE. Instant Credibility. Angle is also a former WWE Champion and a World Heavyweight Champion and I'm sure his goal is to become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. If I recall, the last guy to go from being WWE Champion to NWA Champion was Ric Flair.
