After last yearâ€™s Survivor Series featured a battle of the brands in a Classic Survivor Series Match between Team SmackDown and Team RAW, ECW will make their Survivor Series debut on November 26 in Philadelphia.

The details of ECWâ€™s involvement in Survivor Series are still unclear, but we do know for certain that it will be RAW vs. SmackDown vs. ECW when the second longest running pay-per-view in WWE history celebrates its 20th anniversary. Will we still see a Classic Survivor Series elimination tag match, or will the involvement of a third brand bring about a new type of match stipulation? What will the scene be like in the locker room when the RAW and SmackDown Superstars meet the Extremists of ECW? For some, like Rob Van Dam, it will be a reunion of sorts, but what about newcomers like CM Punk, or ECW originals like the ever-volatile Sandman?

I don't like it. In fact, I think it fucking sucks. nWo vs. D-X would have been better then this. SD! and ECW are garbage and only take away from the show. RAW could do a whole PPV by itself and outshine both the other brands..

Actually, they did. It was called Unforgiven. Fuck this idea.

Are you KIDDING me?? This creates an awesome buzz for Survivor Series...they could botch it by making some new match stipulation, but a classic style THREE CORNERS Survivor Series match up would be killer...especially if they end up doing "qualifying" matches to get onto each team...much, MUCH better than what WWE could have done with a DX/nWo angle...at least they're looking for the big picture, and not just the "right now".

Big picture? I must have missed the part about how ECW fits into the "Big Picture". Sure they got a contract extension but does anyone expect that to last? They have done nothing with the brand since it came onto the scene, it's only a matter of time before everyone gives up on it, and Vince shuts it down for good.

I don't care about the big picture and neither does WWE. My point is proven with the John Cena title victory over Edge. You think they did that because they have a longterm plan? No. they did it to help promote his movie as "WWE Champion John Cena" and get a few more asses on the couch to watch a couple SD! episodes.

Now tell me where SD! fits in. Everytime someone rises to the top on that show they are immediately rushed over to RAW. SD! is basically a glorified farm system for RAW. It happend with Cena, Carlito, Nitro, I could go on and on..

So no. I don't think this is a good idea because nothing will come from it. At least with the nWo/DX storyline we'd have awesome promos and the matches while not great, would be spectacles to say the least.

I think the Best Survivor Series ever would be TNA vs WWE....But that would never happen.

LAME!!! Not that a potential DX vs. nWo feud is that much better, but honestly, ECW isn't on the level of RAW or SD!, it's a spin-off show with big stars from the 2 other shows who show up to help out the ratings. Aside from CM Punk, there's no new stars that have a chance at succeess on the other shows and the original ECW guys are being buried, so they're pissing off the hardcore fans.

ECW might've gotten an extension with Sci-Fi, but if it continues producing TV the way it is currently, I don't see it lasting long term.
