Had to laugh at the some of the lines Goldberg used in an interview with Alex Marvez at Wrestling Observer.
Regarding whether he'd fight in MMA "The thing that kept me from doing MMA fights? I've got more to lose than anybody who would step in the ring because of the persona I've built through wrestling"

He has a point. He does have this tough guy image and if he got his ass destroyed quickly in a MMA fight(like Tank Abbott did when he made his return to UFC) it would hurt that image.
I would love to see it happen though.

hahah jericho bitch slapped goldberg...that just made my day.. i did not know that...goldberg does not have enough balls to fight mma and he just wants the wwe or tna to call him and give him the farm...there is no way in hell that they will do that ....

Yeah, he said later in that interview about how "interested" he was to try and help TNA but that the money would have to be right. Like WCW money right.
He's a cancer for wrestling. How would he be helping TNA by hoiking a company so much in debt (but solvent because of Panda, their benefactor) into even more debt with the kind of incredible money he'd want.
Would he go there and boost the company a la Funk in ECW all those years ago, give it a profile and make a few new stars in the short time he'd be there. Would he fuck. He'd go there, squash the crap out of nearly everyone there and then sod off again and probably leave as soon as they ask him to do anything outside of his remit

I guess it comes from the dressing room he grew up in Wrestling in. Imagine having to deal with guys like Hogan & Nash all the time!! He thinks those are the guys to follow, be all about the money and screw the business hard. I can't blame him, but it doesn't mean I have to like him!!
