Was that the Slimster?? This is no sleight on him, but I thought it was one of those tweeny teeny bop wrestling fans that come on from time to time and rant about their favourite guys. Slim posts way better than that. Maybe he was having a bad day!!

Andrew, the moderator of the message board on Matt Hardy's official website, issued the following statement regarding recent news that Hardy will be pulled from WWE and the Smackdown brand:

"Hello everyone,

Just a little update on Matt for the sake of killing any rumors and assumptions as to his status.

Simply enough, when Matt was given the standard blood test, they found dormant trace elements of the Staph infection which plagued him many months ago. After a light antibiotic treatment and a few weeks off to properly rest, Matt will be back...

Feel free to send him your thoughts, possibly via a 'get well' thread on the board? Hope all of you are making the most of the summer!

Yeah, I read yesterday Matt was saying it was a staph infection. To be honest, from the stuff we appear to know about him and his character it does make sense that it isn't drug or attitude related
