Those who figured the second edition of the revived WWE Saturday Night's Main event could not possibly do as poorly as the first were unfortunately wrong.
Despite the heavily-hyped Hulk Hogan appearance, last night's show did a mere 2.7 Fast National rating according to the WrestlingObserver.
The final rating will likely be in the 2.6-2.8 ballpark, which is down from the last edition's poor 3.1.
Because the show did such a poor rating against summer re-run competition, WWE's future in terms of primetime NBC specials is likely in doubt.
