Mark Henry was injured in the Six-Man Tag Team Match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He is currently diagnosed with a fractured patella and a possible patella tendon rupture.

If the diagnosis holds up, Henry is due to have surgery later this week with Dr. James Andrews.

WWE Dr. Ferdinand Rios says that the amount of time Henry will miss because of the injury will not be determined until he can be more extensively examined on Monday by Dr. Andrews.

Due to the injury, Henry will not be at the Great American Bash press conference on this Monday in Indianapolis.

This pretty much screws up their plans once again. With Mark Henry injured(again) they can't continue that storyline, and they have to come up with a replacement opponent for Batista before GAB next week. Add in the fact that they not lose yet another wrestler from the roster.

I have to go back and take a look because I don't remember seeing him get hurt.

Yeah, Henry was due so this comes as no surprise.. The only thing I can maybe see them doing is have Batista roll through Henry in an injury angle and then being put into the main event to make it a triple threat..

Booker would still win the gold and Batista would still be on te chase, surely they can figure out a way to have Chavo fuck up the match for Rey somehow to start their inevitable feud..

I saw the ref put up the 'X' sign with his hands. Henry wasn't seen after that so I wasn't sure if it was legit or not. I didn't actually see him injure himself though.

I feel sorry for the guy from the point of view that it looked like the biggest proper push of his career.

But hell if the WWE want to invest a push that size on someone that can't wrestle (after 10 years) beyond the rudimentary basics, has been hugely injury prone in that time and has a rep for injuring other performers too, then meh!!
