World Wrestling Entertainment informed business partners today that they have locked in an additional pay per view event for December 3, 2006. There remains no word on the name for the show and what brand will be involved.

Looks like Batista will be returning, I still think Booker will take the title off Rey and it'll be Booker vs Batista.

Wait, what's this extra December PPV? I don't remember seeing that on the list of 2006 WWE PPV's.

With Rey needing to have knee surgery eventually I wouldn't be surprised if you are right and they have Booker beat Rey for the World Title, and then go on to face Batista.

No idea what this new PPV is, anybody have any ideas???? I guess its a new one, from the sounds of it they just made it offical either today or yesterday.

Yeah they made it official yesterday or today and its not known which brand or brands will on it.

The only thing I can think of is Survivor Series is a week before this ppv, I'm going to guess its going to be an ECW pay per view.

With the Survivior Series being late November and SD having Armageddon that month, maybe it will be an ECW PPV(not counting ONS)? They obviously wouldn't have wanted to get a PPV for them until they had a TV deal in place.

Yeah, I'm thinking it will be an ECW PPV.. I don't think it can be criticized if it's that because when you order an ECW PPV you are expecting something different then SD! or RAW.. Different people will buy different PPVs to fit their interest.

On the World Title situation I think Booker will beat Rey for the title and then defend against Batista at SummerSlam. They could get two, possibly three matches out of a Booker/Batista feud I believe if booked correctly.

i think your right about the title i think they'll use the booker/batista commercial fight and build on it, they'll probably have chavo heel on rey during a rey/booker title match and use eddie's name yet again to build the feud with a match at summerslam for them as well.

I believe it was K Jay who said they should have had Chavo turn on Rey at the last PPV... and I agree with both of you. That feud could have some legs to it.

I have been hearing that 2 weeks ago they thought of giving the title to JBL at Judgement Day and then there was talk of giving the title to Mark Henry but now it looks like Rey will hold onto the title till about Summerslam even though he has a bad knee and should be taking time off to have surgery.
