Tonight on Surreal Life, Maven admitted he pops pills to feel normal. When he joined the WWE, he knew what he was getting into. However, having to be ready each night for a show, while sometimes being in pain, started him on the course of taking pain pills to get through the matches. Apparently, it's becoming an addiction, or he is still having past injury related problems. A clip was shown of him talking on the phone, drunk at the Surreal Life house, and saying he took 7 Demerol. He also talked about getting into a program.

I hope he does get the help he needs to kick the habit.

I feel sorry for the guy, but he was there what 3 years or so? Of that he was at home benched for at least 1 year in total. I can't imagine he gets a whole lot of sympathy from guys that have been on the road for 10 years plus and actually had to endure years of indie bookings before getting a break

True, being on TE definitely doesn't earn him a sympathy vote from most of the guys in the locker room.
