Several reports have confirmed that World Wrestling Entertainment has signed midget wrestler Nick Postl, better known as Shortstack. Shortstack, a veteran of NWA Wisconsin, currently works using the gimmick of "The World's Sexiest Midget", and is believed to be given a Leprechaun gimmick to work as a sidekick to Fit Finlay.

Shortstack recently appeared in WWE programming once before in a backstage skit involving Candice Michelle, Gene Snitsky and Goldust that aired on WWE Unlimited a few weeks back.

That could be funny for a few weeks, leprechauns can be entertaining. Let's just hope they don't bring back the juniors division though.

Don’t be surprised if you see Finlay’s leprechaun debuting any week now on the SmackDown! brand as his sidekick. The person playing the role as the leprechaun will be Dylan Posti.

At first WWE officials didn’t think Finlay’s matches were entertaining enough but I guess they had a change of hart as they decided it would get a great idea to have him interfere in matches and help Finlay get some wins. Also they can use him to screw up matches costing Finlay some victories.

How unfortunate that Finlay, one of the few bright spots on Smackdown....a guy who got a connection with the audience because he liked to fight (what an original concept that is WWE Creative!!) is now going to become the latest attempt at comedy.

WWE should give up comedy, it peaked with E&C and has just been purile, lame, homophobic and sad in the last few years.
