Tyson Tomko Quits

Tyson Tomko is gone from World Wrestling Entertainment. According to several sources, Tomko had been told by WWE creative that he and Gene Snitsky would be put together as a tag team and given a push after Wrestlemania 22.

At last night's Raw taping in Chicago, Snitsky was paired as a tag team with Goldust for WWE.com's Heat. The pair will now be a regular undercard tandem, capitalizing on their appearance together as "freaks" in the Booker T backstage sketch at Wrestlemania 22.

Upon realizing that he was not going to get his promised push, Tomko immediately approached WWE management, informed them of his unhappiness over the situation and then requested a release. I was told this morning the request had been granted, so Tomko is done with the company.

Tomko's biggest push during his WWE run was during the time period he was seconding Christian Cage as Christian's "Problem Solver."

i know that it will not hurt the wwe or the raw brand... hell i can not even remeber when he was not tv last

When I usually hear that someone has left WWE I automatically think that TNA will be interested in them. I don't think even TNA will be interested in Tomko.....

Yeah it's official, WWE.com just posted "As reported earlier today by WWE's new Mobile Alert system, World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Tyson Tomko. WWE wishes him the best in all of his future endeavors."

I thought Tomko had potential to be good and I liked the angle they were doing with him a while back where he was beating everyone by KO, but in the end, he never improved enough in the ring to warrant a decent push. Can't say I'll miss him as he's been off TV for months.

Good riddance. Now if all the rest of the shitty wrestlers would do the same, then the product would be a little better.

I forgot about him too, that will happen when someone who isn't talented doesn't appear on TV for several months. He had something going with his KO'ing all his opponents and then his team with Snitsky after that. Oh well, it's not like his loss will affect WWE.
