In their latest attempt to protect their copyrighted characters and footage, World Wrestling Entertainment has been aggressively going after the YouTube.com website and demanding footage be removed, including the removal of footage from WWE licensed video games that feature any WWE characters on screen...
That's lame, it's not like you can have full shows on YouTube. If anything it's helping WWE because if somebody sees something like part of a PPV they might want to order it. I can live without it though because the only time I use YouTube is when somebody post something here or at MD.

I watch some clips of WWE stuff on youtube but its stuff from the late 90's that was pretty funny.

From what I have saw it is stuff that they would never really put on a dvd anyway, like John Cena's debut.

I think it's dumb but why would they put John Cena's debut on DVD? I'm sure he'll have a big DVD set one day.
Yeah I'm sure he will. Maybe that was not a very good example.....ha ha ha.

This sucks. WWE is also going after people on eBay who are selling their old VHS and DVDs. Why WWE would care about that, I have no idea. It's not like they're selling the original Survivor Series anymore, so why does it matter if someone buys it used off the internet? Like somene said earlier, it's just more exposure for WWE, and that's not a bad thing.
