Shannon Moore back with WWE

Shannon Moore has signed with WWE. He was working without a contract in TNA.

I can't believe TNA would make a mistake like that. Oh well, maybe WWE will pair Shannon back up with Matt Hardy. I liked when they were working together during the V1 days.

TNA was using him without a contract? At least they didn't give him a title. I still remember when WCW gave Meng the hardcore title even though he didn't have a contract and he then signed a contract with WWE(while still champion).

This is a real shame, Moore won't be fully utilized in WWE. The crusierweight division has been featured more since Gregory Helms won the title though so maybe theres hope.

I wonder if he will be known as the Prince of Punk. I really liked where that was heading. When I saw this topic, I couldn't believe it because Moore was only with TNA since November maybe.

TNA is foolish but they must have knew something because he wrestled on the Preshow on Destination X because Moore should have been on the main show, especially someone who scored a clean pin over AJ Styles a month back.

I just read on pwinsider that Shannon Moore will be going to Deep South at first and that the Prince of Punk name is trademarked by TNA. They offered him a deal of 26 dates at $500 an appearance. Moore got a better deal with WWE so that is why he signed with WWE.

I don't blame Moore, he would have only gotten $13,000 from TNA(before taxes) and would have to try and make up for that with indy bookings.

It's not that big of a deal about the name though, he was basically using the same gimmick before he was released by WWE before.

I'm completely apathetic when it comes to Shannon Moore. I've always viewed him as a smaller version of Matt Hardy without the profile raising sex scandal.
