Rep Power: 37    | Raw Ratings Rise One night after Edge defeated John Cena for the WWE Championship at New Year's Revolution, WWE fans tuned into Monday Night RAW in huge numbers. This week's RAW delivered a 4.3 rating. That's up 16 percent from last week's 3.7 rating. Edge and Lita's live sex celebration proved to be the highest rated segment of Monday's show, delivering a 5.2. This marked the first time RAW reached a 5 rating since February 21, 2005, when Batista's WrestleMania contract signing delivered a 5.0. | |

Rep Power: 19 | I can't believe that horrible segment got a 5.2, I was hoping it would do like a 2.0 so that they would never do something like that again. Well, if they do it with someone who is attractive instead of Lita it might be better, but that was still a boring segment. |

Rep Power: 6 | Let's just hope the ratings sustain themselves over the course of Edge's title reign so we don't end up with Cena and Haitch swapping the belt back and forth for the next few years. While I wouldn't want to see any more segments like this for a while, the fact that it revolved around Edge and Lita shows that fans are ready to watch someone new in the main event scene and that is a good thing. |
