According to reports on pwinsider and the like supposedly Vince McMahon is very unhappy with the job Joey Styles has done of late. That he is calling matches instead of making movies (whatever that means). That he needs to realize he is calling WWE matches and not ECW matches for the internet.

And there were some knocks for him not speaking enough during matches.

Here is my question how do you expect this guy to get a word in edge wise when he is supposed to be a lead announcer and coach does all the talking and sounds like an idiot. And not to mention it was reported earlier that Vince doesnt want Styles talking all the time that his voice shouldnt be through the whole match.

So how is Styles, whom everyone seems to love in this role, supposed to succeed when he is told one thing and does it and then gets told another. Not to mention he has to share the announce position with Coach who is seen on camera more, is on the end thus looking bigger and talks more. I just dont understand WWE and Vince McMahon sometimes.

Vince should realize that when you have TWO color commentators in the form of Lawler and Coach that you NEED that person who is there to call the match.

Joey has been doing a superb job in my eyes, especially since he has to deal with that idot Coach. I love it when he (Styles) calls a match properlly giving the moves their actual names insted of just calling it a suplex for example.

There aren't many good announcers out there, so WWE should cherish Styles.

What the hell.. Joey Styles is the best thing to ever happen to the WWE announce team. Vince has really lost his touch if he thinks Styles is doing a poor job, its Coach and Lawler, they need to get rid of at least one if not both of those guys. I'd get rid of Coach because he's really just useless up there, he doesnt add anything to the announce position.

Vince should just let Styles call matches the way he wants too, Styles is one of the best commentators out there and much better than Coach could ever hope to be.
