Rep Power: 15  | Booker T Injured Source: Wrestlingobserver.com We don't have much in the way of details, but Booker T suffered an injury to his right knee while wrestling Matt Hardy tonight in White Plains, NY. From preliminary reports from talent on the scene, the injury appeared to be serious. They went right to the finish, and just had Hardy cover him to get out of a match that Booker was likely supposed to win. A slew of officials were surrounding him after the match ended. He was helped out of the ring and had a hard time getting to the back. Booker was scheduled to face Chris Benoit tomorrow night at the Smackdown tapings in Uncasville, CT in match No. 5 of the best-of-seven series. Update: Smackdown was scheduled to be headlined by Chris Benoit vs. Booker T in match five, but Booker T's injury from last night in White Plains ended up being a groin strain. He's expected to be out a few weeks, so they'll have to make a decision on how to proceed as obviously the plan was to climax the feud at Royal Rumble. |

Rep Power: 33  | Well I think they should try and get him through the next few matches, have him lose to Benoit, maybe sight the injury as a factor (since it won't bury him (Booker) too much) and have Benoit bring some presige to the US title. | |

Rep Power: 5 | Hahahaha Thats the best thing that could happen to the series!! Thank goodness for that. Fed up of seeing these to wrestle each other after the second match!!! Hahaha Maybe someone could replace Booker .... Bobby Lashley? Smackdown is having real problems at the moment | |
