WWE would like to issue an open invitation to the Ultimate Warrior. The former WWE Champion declined to be a part of the controversial DVD which features many WWE personalities negatively talking about Warrior. Now he has the chance to respond when Byte This! offers him an open mic.
So do you think he'll turn up and give us his views? Personally I doubt he will. I think it's a shame since the Ultimate Warrior was one of my favourite wrestlers while growing up as a kid, and not to have his side of the story on the DVD is one of the main reasons I probably won't pick it up.

He won't turn up, and from what i've heard him do recentley I don't think it would be good for him to show up.
A side question, is he getting money from the DVD?If not then i'm suprised he isn't suing because he owns the Ultimate Warrior name and this DVD does not shine a good light on him.

I thought WWE gave him the rights to "Ultimate Warrior" in exchange for his return in 1995/1996?

I don't see Warrior accepting the invitation. He's already voiced his displeasures with Vince and WWE when he wrote a recent commentary on his website (it's posted somewhere here on this board). According to him he was going to be a part of the DVD but then WWE kept changing the schedule on him and so he told Vince he couldn't do it. Thus, they decided to bury him in the DVD. Who knows how truthful Warrior is in regards to his business dealings with WWE, but I'm sure there is a shred of truth to his statements. I'm sure WWE could also counter that Warrior was being difficult to work with (which could be very well true).
Yes, Warrior is out there. Yes, Warrior was hard to work with both in and out of the ring. Yes, he won a nasty court case over WWE.
Obviously Vince wanted to bury this guy once and for all and wanted to do it publicy. I'm a Warrior fan and while I don't support WWE burying a guy that made them a lot of money, I'll pick up a copy because I want to see what everyone has to say about him. Should be interesting, although I'm sure there are parts to the DVD which are fabricated, just to please Vince's ego and his side of the story.
