As of late Shawn Michaels has been becoming a regular at WWE production meetings. HBK recently spoke his mind on the creative team's apparent failure, in his opinion, to have anything better for him than Chris Masters after his loss to Hogan at SummerSlam. However, despite his opinion on the matter, Michaels has handled the situation professionaly in a manner comparable to that of his handling of the Hogan SummerSlam fued.
I can see where he's coming from. You go to fueding with the biggest name in wrrestlign histroy to a guy who only debuted on tv this year. it's quite a change. I think i'd be more pissed with how the Summerslam match ended rather than fueding with Masters. That clean loss to hogan took a lot of momentum out of HBK.

^I agree. And then the face turn didn't help either. Plus, I think Masters should win their match, and that's not good for HBK either.. but he'll recover. He's HBK.
I think he should lose against Masters, to help establish him. But the timing is wrong, immediately after HBK lost to Hogan, interest in HBK and him winning matches will decline.

I say too bad if HBK is upset. Guess what, HBK? If you would've stayed heel, you might be wrestling John Cena for the WWE title right now, instead of working a program with Chris Masters. You decided you didn't want to be a heel, so deal with it. Plus, he shouldn't complain about helping elevate younger talent. Doing that is the only way WWE will survive into the future.

HBK chose not to be heel?

I got this feeling that..after the feud with Masters..HBK next person in line for him to put over..or with a feud will be Carlito
Maybe so and HBK will do the Heartbreak Hotel one nite. That would be awesome.

Could be wrong but I'm guessing it wasn't his decision to turn face so quickly after Summerslam. I mean after Cena, there really isn't that many uppercard faces who can get any sort of reaction from the crowds, while most of the top young talent is made up of heels right now. I guess they could turn Carlito face but that would rank right up there with Orton's rushed turn last year before Unforgiven.
In my opinion the HBK face turn was based on necessity and if I were him I would be pissed too. Masters should not be given victories over main eventers until he proves he is ready for the big time, similar to how Batista was pushed initially.
