A “Night of Champions� is scheduled for Monday Night RAW’s homecoming to the USA Network on Oct. 3.

Many former WWE Champions will be making their return to RAW on Oct. 3, including Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Triple H. Even Mr. McMahon himself will make an appearance.

All of this is in addition to current WWE Champion John Cena and former WWE Champions Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Kurt Angle and Ric Flair being a part of the historic, star-studded evening.

RAW flourished during its seven-year run on USA network, establishing cable rating records as WWE fans flocked to the television each and every Monday night. And it’s happening all over again, so don’t miss RAW on Oct. 3 for this televised homecoming.

Wow, sounds really good. I feel bad for Smackdown! Look how good Raw is, and it seems like its only getting better.

What about them dog shows? If they come on will they have Raw air at like Midnight like they use too?

Woah! That episode is going to be must see TV, I don't blame them for pushing the boat out on this one.

That is a stacked lineup. Looks like this is more of a TV special than your regular RAW, so I don't think we'll see much in the way of current storyline progression that show, not that that's a bad thing. I think it's a good idea for WWE to bring all the former champs in as a way to celebrate their success.

Plus, with Austin and Hogan being in the same building, perhaps some seeds will be planted for their possible WM 22 match? Should be interesting.

To rtry and divert attention from this purely being a news story, what do u think the main event will be? WHo do you think Cena will defend against?

And also, do you think The Rock will show up for a night like this?

USA Network has officially announced that Raw will begin at 7:55 p.m. ET on Oct. 3 and run for an additional three-hours-plus live, then be followed by a one-hour "Best of Raw" special. This development is the subject of this week's Torch Newsletter cover story which will be posted online within hours. The added time is meant to combat the four hours of UFC programming scheduled from 8-12 p.m. ET on Spike TV including a two-hour live fight special.
