As a result of last night's SmackDown! taping, several matches have already been announced for next week's debut of Friday Night SmackDown! on UPN. They are: - WWE Title - Bullrope Match: Batista vs. JBL - U.S. Title: Chris Benoit vs. Orlando Jordan - Steel Cage: Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio - WWE Tag Titles: Heidenreich and Animal vs. MNM That is one hell of a line-up already, so it's clear that WWE is hoping to suck people into their new Friday night timeslot immediately. Also due to the stipulation of the main event, I wouldn't be surprised to see JBL walk out the new WWE Champion even though most of WWE's fans would hate it, and not in a good "heel heat" kind of way. | |

Rep Power: 112 | I was thinking about that and, at first, they seem really good matches. But then again they're all matches of feuds that should have ended at Summerslam, nothing worse than watching matches of feuds that have gone on too long. I do understand why they've done it though. | |

Rep Power: 88 | Yeah, on paper it looks like a good card but it probably won't deliver. I can't believe JV thinks they might put the belt on JBL here.. That'd be nuts. Batista still has Orton and Eddie to feud with.. If JBL won the title it would be the official end of the SD! brand. The brand is dying, that would be the bullet between the eyes.. | |

Rep Power: 112 | I do think they'll do a title change but hopefully it'll be the tag titles and not the World Title. I guess it wouldn't surprise me if they do though who would JBL feud with then that he hasn't feuded to death with already?? | |
