Kurt Angle is getting a title shot at the next WWE RAW brand PPV, Unforgiven. The current plan is for Angle to face Cena, who also won last night at the PPV.

For those wondering, the Hardy vs. Edge match was a worked match but both men worked stiff. It was more less WWE's way of having Hardy 'pay his -dues' for being rehired.

New Jack cut a shoot promo at the Extremely Hardcore taping, using his mic time to attack some WWE notables. Aside from the general criticism that WWE won't bring him in out of fear, Jack called Ric Flair a racist and quoted The Nature Boy as saying wrestling is only for white people. He also attacked Cena for being a caricature of hip hop.

Kevin Nash is telling friends that he was asked to appear at WWE Summerslam. Nash, who rejected the offer, would have screwed Hulk Hogan out of the match to help Shawn Michaels win.

Although rumors suggested that Hulk Hogan might work Unforgiven against either Shawn Michaels or HHH, neither appears likely at this point. The rumors that HHH would return to wrestle Hogan were said to lack foundation, and the Summerslam outcome certainly didn't suggest plans for a follow-up match between Hogan and Michaels.

Rob Van Dam has been telling friends that he is ready to return and recently told a radio show that he would be back on RAW the night after SummerSlam. We'll have to wait and see what happens tonight.

The Phantom

This should be good, however Angle is generating more pops than boo's so could this be a face vs face match? If there was anyone who could take the title off Cena it'd be Angle. I'd like to see Kurt with another title run.

Whilst watching the match I was thinking damn how many of those shots are stiff?! 'Paying his dues' humm okay, still the way the match ended was good and I liked it although it should have been Hardy with the win and not Edge.


Now don't get me wrong I love it when they bring back old stars who have history with characters in storylines, but thank god Nash didn't agree to do this... I don't need him on my TV screen anymore.


Cool, RVD has a ready made feud waiting for him with Carlito, I could see these two having quite a feud over the Intercontinental Title.
