At the SmackDown! taping this week, there was apparently no Christian shirts for sale in the entire building. A vendor at the show stated that WWE didn't think Christian shirts would be a good seller, even though she had been asked about them all night.

Now does this mean the christian push is officially over??
I don't think its a good bussiness move not to push christian to the heights he should be at.

Some more on Christian merchandise from Pro Wrestling Insider:
Mike Cunha sent this one, which is a good thing because I know nothing about this kind of stuff! ... WWE has a collectible card game called "Raw Deal". A set of cards for Christian is going to be released in early October, and he was to be referred to as Captain Charisma. Well, WWE has now told Comic Images (the makers of the game) that he now has to be referred to as CLB and if you check Shopzone, all Captain Charisma merchandise has been removed. It's kind of weird considering how over he is, to suddenly pull his merchandise. Captain Charisma's cards were the most anticipated cards of the new Raw Deal set entitled: Unforgiven. In a poll to determine which order the cards would be spoiled on the Official Yahoo Group of over 3000 members, Captain Charisma beat Batista, Immortal Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and a few others.
While on the subject of Christian, James Stewart sent this one. ... I saw your report about the Christian T-Shirt today. I went to purchase one from WWE.com early last week only to get "The product you have tried to access is no longer available for purchase on this site" my screen. You can see what I mean at this link.
The shirt in question is a "Captain Charisma" shirt. As we reported a few weeks ago, a number of sources have told us that Christian has been noticeably unhappy backstage (but still professional) about having his push's legs cut out from under him of late. I don't blame him one bit.
It could just be something simple like them infringing on someone elses copywrite for the Captain Charisma moniker.
I think Bulldog's got the right idea here. That's the impression I got from reading the earlier posts, especially the one about the card game that said Chrisitan had to be referred to as CLB and not Captain Charisma.
But surely that means that WWE didn't copyright it either, which for them, seems rather odd.

Set-up for a Christian shork? Along the lines of "Im overlooked, even though I get the biggest pops Im ignored, the T-shirt sellers look bemused as they have to turn away ashen-faced peeps because the WWE mis-judge my selling appeal. I fell off the ladders in the big matches as No-hopers like Edge and Matt Hardy took the credit for my bumps. Sh*t, I even carried Tyson Tonko around for a whole basta*d year."
