Rep Power: 71   | Protesters trying to ban WWE Source: PWInsider.com - A group of protesters in Vermont is currently attempting to get WWE banned from running shows in Burlington. The group, which protested outside a recent WWE show at the Burlington Memorial Auditorium, has expressed outrage at storylines involving sexual harassment and extreme violence. "We've seen in out takes from the footage sexual discrimination, sexual harassment, domestic violence acted out. All these things I don't want my kids seeing as acceptable entertainment," Wendy Huff told the Channel 3 News. The Burlington Parks & Recreation Board is investigating the situation and evaluating whether or not such a ban is even legal. One possible compromise on the table would involve labeling WWE events as "adults only," but WWE has, in the past, opposed such labels being placed on its shows. | |

I swear if I were ever to kill someone it would be someone so fucking stupid as this. These fucking house wifes who have no life and need something to do, get involved with this stupid shit to give their useless lives some meaning and make themselves fell better like they are doing the world some good. They are just ignorant and stupid. Everything these days is so sensitive. I am not trying to dig on America, but it is based on this kind of fondation and that is why so many things like this happen today. Everything back in the beginning was so opressed and restricted and seen as "wrong" so it was labeled as so and it still shines through in todays world. |

As everyone has said, if she doesn't want her kids watching it, don't let them, don't try and ruin it for other families. In the few events i've seen here. I've seen families together and they have a great night out. It's a bonding experience for some and it's pathetic that it's even under threat. | |
