I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Well it doesnt actually say he is leaving it just says hes expected to leave, its unusual for them to stick him in a title match for his last match if it is true

He has all the reason in the world to hit the road, and I wouldn't blame him at all. Ever since they killed off most of his momentum with the HHH title screwjob on RAW he has basically been stuck in the same spot. Even when he was undisputed champ it felt like he didn't belong there. I have a feeling TNA may get a hold of Jericho.

Perhaps someone should tell him Fozzy isn't good, and isn't going to be famous anytime soon. It is only known by wrestling fans, who support it because they like Chris Jericho the wrestler, not the singer.

-- To clarify from the report earlier about Chris Jericho’s future, some sources close to the man himself think it’s a given that he’ll leave when the contact expires. It is correct that Jericho still hasn’t signed his new deal, which is extremely strange for talent not to do that a way ahead of its expiration.

Some find it strange that WWE would give Jericho this big of a push if he’s not re-signing, especially given the state TNA now find themselves in, with pockets deep enough to sign Jericho AND give him the freedom to tour with Fozzy around it. Odds are at this point Jericho is giving WWE the firm impression re-signing is just a formality. Of course, if this was WCW, Jericho would be winning the World title at SummerSlam.

^^ On that point Jericho's two biggest pushes as a heel have come on the rare occasions that Hunter hasn't been around. I don't think it's a big coincidence, I think Vince sees Jericho as a heel that works better when as big a heel as Hunter is, isn't around.
