It's good news if it helps freshen up HHH's character and in the process allows some other talent to get over on the brand.
It's bad news if the new talent drops the ball and HHH isn't there to save them.
Ok, I have been on your side with the whole HHH thing but you have gone a little to far now lol.
The ratings are doing just fine and have either stayed the same or even gone up somewhat. You yourself even said you are getting excited about wrestling again, and that was after HHH left. If something goes wrong it doesn't mean that it is because HHH is not around. If HHH were to die tomorrow, the WWE overall wouldn't suffer that greatly that it couldn't go on or still be a great product. I am not saying he has nothing to offer because he does, but to imply that he is the Messiah of WWE is a stretch.
I'm not implying that WWE can't go on without Triple H..Hell, they can go on without Hogan, Stone Cold, and Rock, so I'm sure they could live on without Triple H.
All I was saying is that Triple H is a known main eventer. He is the ultimate heel in wrestling today, and nobody can argue with that. So what I meant was, we still don't know if all these other guys are going to be Triple H, on that level, so to me if you lose a guy of Triple H's stature and don't replace him with the same level of guy, than the product isn't as good as it was..right?
I have said myself that WWE is getting exciting again, that's true. I love WWE right now. I think it was good for Triple H to take time off. But nobody can tell me that RAW is a better show without Triple H. He's only been gone a couple weeks, so there is no way one could say something like that. And even if the product holds up and continues to be exciting for the next few months, it still won't prove anything about Triple H and his importance..The only way we'd know for sure is if he was gone for 8 months again..
And oh by the way, when the guy was gone for 8 months last time, he came back to the biggest arena in the world and they went absolutley NUTS!! for his return..

A lot of people would tell you Raw is a better show without HHH. They are the ames ones who are saying that they change the channel when he comes on.
When HHH was out last time, people weren't sick of him, so when he did return, it was because no one wanted to see him go in the firtst place.
People can have their opinions about wrestling..that's fine. But if somebody changes the channel when Triple H is on..they aren't a real wrestling fan. Not to me anyway.
People can get sick of the guy and people can be glad that he's taken time off, but if people start bitching when he comes back after a 4 or 5 month layoff, I'm gonna go nuts!!
There is nothing that the man isn't great at when it comes to wrestling, so if a person is a true wrestling fan, then they should show him the respect he deserves..He lives this business. It's his life, and there is nothing more that he wants to do than come out and entertain all of us. And he's great at it.
Boy you are gonna draw some heat for that statement.
But BY GOD!!! I AGREE!!!!
HHH is the single greatest active wrestler alive today. He has an amazing respect and knowledge for the business that few do. I foresee him coming back and gettin that spinny toy off of Cena sooner than later. I miss him already just becuase he hasn't had the chance to interact with the new draft talent that RAW got. By the way, if some people change the channel every time he comes on, how do they know they don't like him? have you ever watched him?
Get yourself an old wrestling tape. Watch Flair in his prime, Terry Funk, The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, The Andersons, Pat Patterson, The Briscoes, and I dare you,... I dare you to try to tell me that WWE is even a remotely good product. Wrestling happened before 1998 and just because you didn't see it does not mean it did not exist. Broaden your horizons people!!!

No offence but HHH isn't the only guy who lives for wrestling and a lot of people ( and I am willing to bet you are one of them ) don't give them respect just because they live for it.
I agree that people that don't sit through all of a show arn't real fans and just want to only see something that THEY like and think that is the only way things should be done. I am sure everything they do in life isn't perfect and wouldn't like it if people only paied attention to them when it benifited them. Being a fan of something is no different and I comared it to a sports fan only watching their favorite team play when they are winning and turning the channel when they are losing.
I don't think it is so much HHH they are sick of as much as it is his character and how he does nothing different. And to be honest, he shouldn't let fans tell him when to change who he is in the ring without him wanting to do it himself as well.
He is lucky that he has more control of that so maybe that is what pisses people off. he gets to have a say in things that other wrestlers don't. I am sure of Matt Morgan had of had a choice, he wouldn't want to have been a studdering fool on tv week in and out. HHH had a say and may have over stayed his characters welcome.
I agree that HHH is one fo the best all-around perfomers in WWE, not just today, but of all time.
HOWEVER, there is a such thing as too much of a good thing, and that was the case with HHH the last 2 or 3 years. He had SO much tv time, and SO much exposure that he got boring. Thats why ne needed to take a vacation, let the fans miss him, let his body rest up a little, and then come back to Raw and get into feuds with Angle, Cena and the like.
Plus, while he's gone, we'll see if anybody else is truly ready to take the ball and run with it. Personally, I think Cena, Benjamin, Carlito, and Edge have all shown that they deserve to be getting a decent amount of face time, and that they should continue to get it when HHH comes back
