With the recent addition of The Coach to the RAW broadcast team, some speculation is taking place within WWE that Jerry Lawler could be moved off the team or even released by WWE possibly. The overwhelming opinion of Lawler in WWE is that he is seen as overpaid of what is asked of him and many feel The Coach can fill his shoes for a much smaller salary. It should be noted that Coach is said to be more popular and social with key members of the WWE production staff than Lawler is at this point
Yeah, i would agree wholeheartedly with the decision, but didn't King just sign a new 5 year contract? It would seem pointless for WWE to do that if they were going to release him so soon.
I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

^^^ Just what I was thinking, though we have seen over the last few weeks of draft picks that are then ditched that an awful lot is being done on the fly at the moment.
After watching One Night Stand I was hoping they'd make Foley the other commentator. If that was gonna happen I might tune in a bit more often.
As for the King, if I heard him drone on about puppies on more time or bang on about something irrelevent in the middle of matches I would have probably shot myself if I still watched now.
You`d need a heel foley on color. I think Foley would auctually be better suited heeling on Cole and teaming JR with Tazz. Tazz could auctually straighten out JRs calling. Have you noticed Cole doesnt make as many as mistakes as he used to because Tazz always calls him and corrects him on it.
Hmmm... maybe they would be sending him to SD! Or they're just going back to the old style of 3 commentators, just like back in the day when they had Vince, JR and King all together.
I think they'll stick with the 3 man group as of now..
Coach would be better suited if he was a heel manager for someone or something like that, but the good thing about Coach being there is that it breaks up the King's Bullshit a little bit. You don't hear King ramble on about nonsense as much now, and it almost seems like King is the 3rd wheel of the team than Coach. It seems like JR calls the match, Coach says some heel remarks, and then King says something irrelevent but is quickly cut off by the other two.
I like this new group a lot better than just JR and King..
Here's the normal JR and King commentary..
HBK vs. Y2J @ WMXIX
***HBK and Y2J begin to chain wrestle..***
King: "What are they doing?"
JR: "They're wrestling, what'd you want them to show you their puppies?"
Or how bout King during a match on RAW when he should be putting over the action..
King: "Hey JR, you think Trish Stratus has a VCR?"
JR:"What, you mean a video recorder?"
King: "No, a Very Cute Rear...I think she does"
I could go on and on about how bad King is, but you already know he's awful.
