-- According to several people backstage, there has been a quiet rivalry between Triple H and John Cena brewing for quite some time. The backstage consensus is that Triple H feels Cena isn't dedicated enough to his position, and is not good enough of a leader to be the champion. On Cena's side, there is a feeling among a number of people that he just doesn't like Triple H very much in general. Despite their problems, the two still act pleasantly when around each other.

It is likely that the two will be kept on separate shows during the WWE roster draft, in order to keep everyone happy. Many feel that in order for John Cena's star power to grow to it's full potential, he needs to be on the show that Triple H is not on.

Well I got here first so im gonna make the obvious comment:

For anyone`s star power to grow they need to be kept off the HHH show.

^ To an extent. Certain people couldnt have their star power grow on their own. Although I cant stand Cena I will admit he's got a superstar look to him. Triple H does serve a purpose to elevate other wrestlers. True he squashes them shortly after in most cases, but he does atleast give people a boost...

I agree with you Sabac, but it seems that when Trips gives a rub to guys its on his terms and by his "approval".

To break up another hate Haitch thread I'll point out that Batista would not be the star he is today without Triple H. It had to be said.

There's no denying that HHH helped Batista a lot. But what if he didn't want to? What if he decided Batista wasn't "the one"?

From what I see, Trips is becoming like Hogan was reputed to have been like. I don't see why Trips gets to call the shots, gets to decide whom he grooms for main event status. I remember how Hogan refused to drop the belt to Curt Hennig way back when. Who knows how things would have been different if Hennig had been allowed to hold the belt? The same thing is happening with HHH now, and we as fans are losing out on seeing potential main eventers. All we see are guys with potential getting buried because this guy doesn't want them in his little circle.
