Celebrity Wrestlingâ€™, which airs on ITV in the UK on Saturday evenings, is to be axed.

The show, which is co-hosted by â€˜Rowdyâ€™ Roddy Piper and featuring Joe Legend and Dâ€™Lo Brown as trainers to the contestants, has been panned by critics and has brought in some of the lowest ratings the ITV network has seen for a primetime show.

I believe we are getting one of the Star Wars films to replace on 21st May to coincide with the release of the new Star Wars film

Here's why I dont like the show

1) Its just a differential version of Gladiators for the Saturday night armcahir viewer. Hey, D'Lo is as scary as The Wolf. The activities are not wrestling, when have we seen football goals being implemented in a wrestling ring?!

2) Its not celebrity wrestling, its has-beeners. Lets face it, who the bejesus remembers the big guy from Eastenders. Pocket Rocket?! The gimmicks they have are terrible. A black man thinking he's Undertaker and a William Regal kop off.

3) The wrestlers are not tough, they may think that they are, but landing on crash mats isn't exactly the same as Tough Enough now is it.

4) It makes a complete mockery of professional wrestling. How much do you think Piper has been paid to make himself look a jackass. You just look at him and you kno that he's thinking, WTF am I actually doing this.

5) And finally, shows how sad these so called celebrities are, you see Kate Lawler of the screen and she's like Heidnenrich on crack.

Thank God for that!

I watched the first episode and have avoided every other one since. Just as Crocker said it simply isn't wrestling, it's a dolled up version of Gladiators.

I saw the first episode it was shit. With bigger celebrities and choreographed wrestling and storylines like that of WWE it could of been alright, but people may not have took on.
