Dave Meltzer reports that Mark Henry's WWE contract has been extended. Henry signed a 10 year contract with the WWE back in 1996 after he competed in the Olympics for $1 million dollars a year. Henry's new deal is not guarenteed and lasts through 2007. His money has been cut down from $1 million a year dollars to $300,000 a year

I'm so happy about this. I think that Mark Henry is one hell of an entertainer. Every time I see him something exciting happens. Championship material? I really doubt it. But number one contender worthy? Oh hell yea. One of my favourite matches of 2006 was Mark Henry vs. Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble. I hope now that he is an established Smackdown superstar they will start using him more. He makes a good challanger. And he can make an impact.

lol Yes, I knew they would resign him, Just cut the wages but yeah, This is great news cause like Reinheimer said. Hes a good Challenger, and really can entertain lol Now hopefully the WWE will stop saying his injurying people :-/ fucking batista's fault that he cant take a move right, not Henrys
