i just saw that dustin 'goldust' runnels was arrested on sunday b/c of a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. he was bonded out already. it didn't say what the exact charges were though.
i wonder if anyone cares?:erm2:

The big topic of conversation at the TNA Impact! taping last night was the arrest of current TNA performer and former WWE star Dustin Runnels, aka Dustin "Goldust" Rhodes, early Monday morning. Anthony DeBlasi reports, and Georgie Makropoulos has confirmed, that Runnels returned home on Sunday night following the TNA Lockdown PPV, and an argument ensued with his girlfriend that turned violent. Rhodes, who may have been under the influence at the time (that was the speculation backstage last night), reportedly assaulted his girlfriend pretty severely and was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. Runnels posted bail and was released, however he did not work the Impact! taping last night meaning he won't be on TNA television for at least the next three weeks (since it was a three-week taping).

This is not Runnels' first brush with the law. In 2002, he was sued (along with Scott Hall and Ric Flair) by Phoenix area flight attendants for lewd conduct while on a WWE flight from Europe.

I'll have more on this latest turn of events as news becomes available. I expect that the local media in Florida will pick up on it shortly.

To follow-up on what we reported earlier, Dustin Rhodes was arrested on Sunday and charged with misdemeanor battery after a fight with his girlfriend.

Rhodes went to court yesterday and was ordered to stay away from his girlfriend, stop the use of alcohol or narcotics, and maintain a separate residence.

We're told someone posted bond for him at $1,000 and he was able to get released.

Rhodes was not at the tapings yesterday but several sources have noted his girlfriend was there.
