WWE has announced that they'll be returning to Europe in June with SmackDown! live events so far announced in Glascow, Scotland on June 16, Aberdeen, Scotland on June 17, Dublin, Ireland on June 18 and Manchester, England on June 19. All four shows will tentatively feature a triple threat main event with John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. JBL. And WWE has announced that Steve Austin will serve as special guest referee for the main event on all four European shows.
The line-ups could change depending on WWE's draft lottery which is scheduled to take place at the end of May. But regardless of who works the actual matches, it looks like Austin will work the shows. And since he was a Raw performer when he left (and appeared on Raw after WrestleMania), perhaps Austin will even be a featured performer to jump brands in the draft lottery and jump to the SmackDown! brand in the draft.
